PURPOSE:To enable the effective utilization of scrap noodles, to improve the yield of noodles, and to produce noodles having a weight equal to the indicated weight, by weighing a lump of noodles with a weight checker, and supplying the shortage of the weight of the noodles with the corresponding amount of scrap noodles using a shortage supplier according to the signal transmitted from the weight checker. CONSTITUTION:Oil-fried noodles 4 having a weight somewhat smaller than the prescribed level are transferred by the bar conveyor 6, and a weight checker 7 is placed at the front end of the conveyor 6. When the weight of the noodles 4 is higher than or extremely lower than the prescribed level, the distribution plate 11 placed adjacent to the checker 7 is swivelled horizontally by the signal from the checker 7. The shortage supplier 8 to supply the noodles with scrap noodles corresponding to the shortage of the weight according to the signal transmitted from the checker 7 is placed above the tray conveyor 13 to transfer the weighed noodles. The scrap noodles formed in the treatment process after frying in an oil can be utilized effectively, the yield of noodles can be improved, and the noodles of the amount equal to the indicated weight can be produced by this process. |
