PURPOSE:To control a subscriber's equipment by providing a control section managing centralizingly the subscriber's equipment and a selection circuit switching a spare bit of a data frame, and allowing the control section to control the selection circuit so as to switch the circuit thereby using the spare bit of the data frame. CONSTITUTION:Each bit of a data frame received from a subscriber line is fed to a subscriber's equipment through an interface circuit and a subscriber's bus in a network terminator 5' and a data from the subscriber's equipment is received via the interface circuit 8 and divided into each information by a distribution circuit 10. A control section 7 supervises each spare bit S as signals SL1 and SL2 in such a case. When the control section 7 makes communication with the subscriber's equipment in the own system, whether or not the S bit is used is informed depending on the signal SL1 or SL2, and a selection circuit 11 or 12 is controlled by using an SEL signal when the bit is idle so as to transmit/ receive the signal with the S bit of the subscriber's equipment by using signals SC1, SC2. |
