PURPOSE:To enable the automatic and exact operations such as the weighing of noodles, packing of noodles in a frame, etc., by cutting noodles to a definite portion, weighing the cut noodles, judging whether the weight is proper or not, and transferring only the noodles having proper weight to the hopper for packing in a frame. CONSTITUTION:The noodles 2 fed by the conveyor 1 is cut to proper portions with the cutter 3. The cut noodles 7 are dropped on the weight checker 6 and weighed. When the measured weight falls within a prescribed range, the blower 10 is operated while keeping the distribution plate 8 to the horizontal state, and the noodles 7 are blown off with the air jet blasted from the blower 10, allowed to slide on the distribution plate 8, and dropped into the hopper 11 for packing in a frame. On the other hand, when the weight of the noodles 7 is out of the prescribed range, the cylinder 9 is operated by the signal transmitted from the checker 6, the distribution plate 8 is tilted, and the blower 10 is operated to blow up the noodles 7 along the inclined distribution plate 8 to the receiving plate 18.
