On the rear layer of the garment from the inside is sewn a triangular additional textile piece, the base of which is located upwards and is pointed towards branches which provide a reinforcement of the rear layer. A burdock strip measuring 13 x 5cms is sewn in the inside at the centre of the triangular rear layer to accommodate a battery -controlled heating plate of the same size as the burdock strip. A rubber heating plate is placed in a pocket, the lower layer of which consists of the burdock strip. The lower layer of the pocket comprising the strip holds the rubber plate stretched along its complete length to prevent the formation of kinks. - The upper layer of the pocket is of thin cotton, and prevents direct contact between the rubber plate and the skin of the body above it. The pocket has an upwardly located aperture. A narrow channel from the top edge of the aperture and ending in the upper edge of the rear layer, accommodates electrical wires which pass from the upper part of the plate to a pocket in the upper edge of the garment. |
