PURPOSE:To supply power to an X-ray tube of, for example, a single phase self- rectifier type in high power-efficiency similar to full-wave rectification by supplying commercial double frequency tube voltage and tube current to an X-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:A system is composed of a full-wave rectifier 22 on the primary side of a main transformer 12, a reference voltage setting circuit 25, and a wave form transform circuit 26. In the wave form transform circuit 26, an output terminal of a voltage comparison circuit 30 is connected to a base B of an NPN transistor 33 and to an input terminal of a polarity inversion circuit 35. An output terminal of the inversion circuit 35 is connected to a base B of an NPN transistor 34. Each connector C of transistors 33 and 34 is connected to each winding 12P1 and 12P2 of the main transformer 12 respectively. Although a tube itself is operated by only half wave, it is the same as operation by full-wave rectification as viewed from power source side. Therefore, power is supplied to the X-ray tube in high power-efficiency. |
