PURPOSE:To make possible uniform stretching and heattreatment by a method wherein a dielectric is passed through a cylindrical cavity resonator to which microwave is supplied to provide an electric field and the electric field is concentrated equally to the dielectric. CONSTITUTION:Microwave is supplied from an microwave oscillator to a cylindrical cavity resonator through the wave guide 5 and the junction holes 7 to concentrate a very strong electric field on its central axis. Then, a dielectric, which preferably takes a fibrous form, a rod form, a pipe form, a tape form, a film form, etc. and is of synthetic fiber such as polyamide, polyester, polyolefin, etc. is passed through this cylindrical cavity resonator and the electric field is concentrated equally on the dielectric to make efficient and equal heat stretch and/or heattreatment. |
