PURPOSE:To optimise the lubrication flow ratio maintenance in accordance with the ever-changing engine load by calculating the lubrication flow ratio from lubricant flow and engine output, converting the ratio into a calibrated ratio under normal load, and displaying the result. CONSTITUTION:An output signal out of a flowmeter 2 measuring the lubricant flow Q which flows from a tank 1 through lubrication 3 to cylinder liner 5, and another output signal out of a shaft horsepower meter 11 to detect the power of the engine 4, are input through an A/D conversion unit 10 into an arithmetic unit 13 in a cylinder lubrication flow ratio monitor 9. After the arithmetic unit calculates the lubrication flow ratio Q' using the two input signals, conversion units 14 converts this ever-changing ratio Q' into a lubrication flow ratio Q'' under normal load. The conversion unit 14 then compares the lubrication flow ratio Q'' resulted from conversion as, e.g., under 85% load with a preset value. When a deviation from the preset value is recognized, the conversion unit puts out its conversion result into an output unit 15 to desplay the result and give an alarm. |
