PURPOSE:To accomplish high accuracy measurement of thread in a combined status of a pitch error of the thread, by a contilever is fixed on a female screw, measuring its displacement distance with a laser and measuring an inclined angle of this cantilever and correcting said distance. CONSTITUTION:A contilever 7 is fixed on a female screw 6 with male thread 5 and female thread 6 as combined, and a displaced distance of the contilever 7, when the male-threaded screw 5 is swung by a motor 3, is measured by a laser optical system consisting of laser source 12, interferometer 13 and reflector 14. Further, an angle of the contilever 7 included by the axis of the male- threaded screw 5 is measured by a collimator 16 and from its measuring output, measured value of the distance by the laser is corrected. By this arrangement, simple and occurate measurement of the thread pitch error in the status of male and female threads as combined. |
