PURPOSE:To provide the titled coating material having excellent adhesion to metal and folding processability, by blending a specified composite oxide pigment with a thermoplastic polyether sulfone resin contg. arom. hydroxyl groups. CONSTITUTION:2-150pts.wt. composite oxide pigment composed of copper, iron and manganese is blended with 100pts.wt. thermoplastic polyether sulfone resin contg. arom. hydroxyl groups. Examples of the resins are those contg. a repeating unit of the formula (wherein n is an integer). The composite oxide pigment composed of copper, iron and manganese can be obtd. by firing oxides of copper, iron and manganese at 600-1,300 deg.C for 1-2hr, or firing salts or hydroxides of copper, iron and manganese at 600-1,300 deg.C for 1-2hr or firing said salts or hydroxides after treating them with an alkali.
