PURPOSE:To shorten a positioning control time by controlling a conduction time of a motor, in accordance with a distance between a target position and an object which stops at this position. CONSTITUTION:A positioning control device is constituted of an AC voltage control part 1 for turning on and off an input AC voltage by a thyristor, etc., and AC motor 12 driven by said part, a load device 3 being an object to be controlled, a position detector 4, and a control part 5. In this state, when a conduction command signal from the control part 5 corresponding to a distance to a target position detected by the position detector 4 is outputted, the C motor 2 is driven by the AC voltage control part 1, and the load device 3 is moved to the target position by a continuous conduction. After it has been moved to the vicinity of the target position, it enters into a intermittent operation, but in such a case, a distance between the load device 3 and the target position is detected by the position detector 4, and in accordance with this distance, a conduction time of the motor 2 is controlled. In such a way, the number of times of conduction of the motor 2 and the number of times of an inching operation can be decreased. |
