PURPOSE:The titled composition that contains citric acid, sodium citrate and potassium chloride in a specific proportion, thus being free from deliquesence and alkalizing urine without causing imbalance of Na<+>/K<+> in blood and effectively preventing gout and uretherolith. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition includes citric acid, sodium citrate and potassium chloride in a x:y:z proportion in the concentration of 1-80wt% concentration where x, y and z are in the following ranges: 0.4<=x<=1.4, 1.2<= y<=4.0 and 1.0<z<12.0. Most preferably composition includes the three ingredients in the concentration of 1-20wt% where they are in ranges of 0.8<=x<=1.1, 1.8<=y<=2.2 and 2.8<=z<=3.2. The composition is daily given to promote the alkalization of urine to increase the solubility of uric acid in urine to prevent the acid from precipitating resulting in effective prevention of gout and uretherolith. Moreover, it is free from deliquescence. |
