PURPOSE:To observe visually the history of a disk by providing such discriminating information as an optical disk manufacture number, etc. on the outside of an information track area for recording/reproducing the information. CONSTITUTION:An optical disk 1 is provided with an information track area 2, but in addition to said area, disciminating information 3 is provided. This discriminating information 3 is constituted of character information 4 and an optical readable signal 5 corresponding to the character information 4. This optically readable code signal 5 consists of stamper number information 6 and replica address information 7, and said discriminating information 3 is formed on the optical disk 1 as uneven depth information. |
