PURPOSE:To measure accurately the weight of a body suspended from a cable even if the cable fluctuates by detecting the cable-directional component of the vector sum of the weight of the body and the force of acceleration which operates on the body. CONSTITUTION:Rod ends 7 and 8 are fixed to the top and reverse surfaces of a load cell 4 respectively, so the cable-directional component of the vector sum of the weight of the body and the force based upon the acceleration operating on the body is the load placed on the load cell 4. Outputs of the load cell 4 and an accelerograph 5 are passed through cables 12 and 13 and amplified by division input circuits 14 and 15, whose outputs are inputted to a dividing circuit 16. The circuit 16 calculates the ratio of the output of the load cell 4 to the output of the accelerograph 5. Then, the output of the circuit 16 has the gain adjusted properly and is displayed as the load value of the body 2 on the division output circuit 17. Further, the circuit 17 calculates the mean value within a specific time and outputs it, so the precision is improved.
