PURPOSE:To prevent biting and flawing of headed rod members which would be caused by protrusion of a push rod by protruding the push rod into a hopper by the force of a resilient member only when a blade is lowered to the vicinity of the lowermost portion of the hopper. CONSTITUTION:As a rotor 9 is turned around, a segment blade 3 is downwardly swung along a groove 21 of a semicircular plate 5 until it is swung to the vicinity of the lowermost portion of a hopper 1. This swinging movement causes a roller 18 of a switch 17 to be pushed by the end surface 3b of the segment blade 3 and thereby air flow into an air cylinder 13 to be stopped. Such a stop causes a rod 13a to be put in the retracted state by a spring 13b, and a push rod 15 starts to be protruded into the hopper 1. Such a protrusion releases the headed rod members from firm engagement and stacking of the stems thereof at both sides of the segment blade 13, and as the result, the stems of the rod members fall down to a groove 3a of the segment blade 3 and are caught there. |
