An improvement in an apparatus for applying packaging devices to containers where a continuous strip of resilient plastic carrier devices are stretched and applied to containers for producing packages. A series of pairs of stretching members, one of which is fixed, and the other of which is reciprocating, creates an efficient applicating system while minimizing the cost and maintenance of such a machine. |
