PURPOSE:To uniformly maintain the urging forces of spring members, by compensating differences among the bias forces of the spring members with the use of a compensating means disposed in a cassette body for a copying paper cassette in which relatively large size copying papers are stored. CONSTITUTION:When a copying paper cassettes 24a in which relatively large copying papers are stored in loaded on a cassette receiver 2, a receiving plate 44 is positioned on the top flat surface 64b of a compensating member 62 so that coil springs 50 are compressed by the height of the compensating member 62. Accordingly, the bias forces of the coil springs 50 are compensated by the compensating member 62, and therefore, the copying paper pressing forces of the coil springs 50 are maintained at substantially the same values as those that are obtained when a copying paper cassette in which relatively small size copying papers are stored is loaded into the cassette receiver 2. |
