PURPOSE:To improve the thermal insulation performance and the rigidity of roof panel by providing a foaming material layer composed of glassy or other inorganic material containing many independent foams at the cabin side of roof panel. CONSTITUTION:When applying on a suspension ceiling structure for car, an inorganic foaming material layer 10 is formed at the cabin side of roof panel 1. A head lining 2 is supported through predetermined space 20 at the inside of said foaming material layer 10 by means of some suitable supporting means to constitute a suspension ceiling. Glass foaming material, foamed concrete such as ALC concrete, inorganic foaming material such as water glass foaming material or layer material consisting of such particles as glass balloon, ''shiras balloon'', perlite, etc. is employed as the in organic foaming material layer 10 and preferably glass foaming material having the bulk specific gravity of 0.1-0.7 and the porosity of 65-98% is employed. |
