PURPOSE:To raise the precision of the work processing, by sliding a switching member back/forth by means of an operating mechanism, sinking and releasing a wedge member, sliding both chuck sleeves, and holding and releasing collet chucks. CONSTITUTION:A switching cylinder 34 is operated, and a working circular body 37 is swung around a hinge pin 36. A switching member 11 is slid on a hollow shaft 2 through a shifter body 40, and a wedge member 10 is sunk by engaging the switching member 11 to the wedge member 10. In this way, receiving members 20, 22 are slid outward by the action of inclined planes 21, 23. Chuck sleeves 5, 6 slide outward as they resist the force of resetting springs 19, 24, collet chucks 3, 4 are contracted by the engaging action of a pressed part 7 and a pressure contact part 8, and a work W is precisely held between the collet chucks 3, 4. |
