PURPOSE:To prevent mechanical vibration and improve cutting speed and efficiency by arranging two cutting tools facing each other and cutting the external face of a rotating material. CONSTITUTION:A material to be cut 1 is chucked by a head stock (not shown in the figure), and cutting tool tables 5A, 5B are set so that a cutting tool 4B is a little ahead of a cutting tool 4A. Next, the material to be cut 1 is rotated and a handle 8 is operated so as to bring cutting tools 4A, 4B in contact with the external face of the material to be cut 1 and cutting is started. Then, positions of cutting tools 4A, 4B are adjusted by respective handles of adjusting tables 6A, 6B wile watching the cutting condition. |
