PURPOSE:To hold elevational motions of a magnetic levitating unit stable by feeding back the distance information of elevational directions between levitating and field and speed information of moving direction of field to the command value of an armature current. CONSTITUTION:An elevational position sensor 15 outputs elevational distance signal 20 from a distance 24 between a field 2 of a synchronous linear motor 1 and a levitating coil 19, and a moving direction speed sensor 7' outputs a moving direction speed signal 8' from the moving direction speed 23 of the field 2. A feedback current value calculator 16 calculates a feedback current value for generating a propulsion force to be fed back from the signals 20, 8' to the field 2, and an armature exciting current calculator 10 calculates an armature exciting current value necessary to obtain a propulsion force 18 generated in the field 2 from an armature 5 by a normal current value command signal 9' and a feedback current value command signal 17. |
