PURPOSE:To reduce the radiation loss during the circulation of hot water to save piping material by constituting the piping so that the pipe sectional area of a supply hot water return pipe is made smaller than that of a supply hot water feed pipe. CONSTITUTION:The supply hot water return pipe 19 of circulating hot water feed device is so constituted that the pipe sectional area of a supply hot water return pipe 19 is made smaller than that of a supply hot water feed pipe 13. The supply hot water return pipe 19 is integrally coated with a heat insulating material and connected to a supply hot water heat source 12. According to this constitution, during the circulating operation, the quantity of radiation from the supply hot water return pipe 19 is reduced. A temperature detector 21 for detecting the temperature within the pipeline is provided in the supply hot water feed pipe 13. When the temperature within the supply hot water feed pipe 13 is lower than a preset temperature, a circulating pump 20 is started, and hot water within the supply hot water heat source 12 is fed to the pipeline. When hot water reaches a predetermined temperature, the operation of the circulating pump 20 is stopped to prevent wasteful radiation from the pipeline and to reduce the power consumption of the circulating pump 20. |
