PURPOSE:To make it possible to move a machining station without changing a program, by controlling an introducing operation in accordance with a content which is stored through a control section in a memory and which includes the combination of the machining station and a space area to which the machining section is moved. CONSTITUTION:When containers storing therein workpieces are successively introduced through the inlet 4A of a conveyor 1, stations 6 which are arranged in the order of machining introduce the containers. When the workpieces is completed to be machined by workers, a control device 16 delivers a signal g3 so that a cylinder 21 is actuated by means of a control board 23 to transfer a container in which a completed workpiece is stored onto the conveyor 1, and then the control device 16 delivers a signal g2 to the next downstream station so that a cylinder 17 is actuated by means of the control board 18 to introduce a container. Introduction and delivery between the stations are under the control of a program to prevent the containers from being bumped together and from being introduced into an incorrect station, thereby interruption in working and movement of containers may be freely made.
