PURPOSE:To control a voice, a busy tone and a dial tone or the like incoming to a telephone line with distinction by using a program so as to apply voice control to a CPU. CONSTITUTION:When a call signal is incoming to telephone lines L1, L2, logical 1 is set to output ports P20-P24 of a CPU by a program and after a response message is transmitted, a reception tape TP2 is driven so as to record a message from a caller. A counter built in the CPU is activated at the same time and when the count number is >=10, the signal is regarded as a voice, and when the count number is <=10, 1sec is decreased from the 1st timer so as to conduct 0 test of a register. While a caller transmits continuously a caller, the 1st timer is set and when a busy tone is incoming, the second number of the 1st counter is zero, the mode is brought into the standby state. When the dial tone is transmitted, the timer is restored similarly.
