摘要 PURPOSE:To draw a graphic formed on a picture formation area at a high speed by forming plural drawn picture arithmetic circuits in a drawn data graphic part and organically connecting respective drawn picture arithmetic circuits in accordance with graphic data. CONSTITUTION:Graphic data from a host computer 2 are distributed into plural drawn picture operating circuits 51-516 of a drawn data arithmetic part 4 through an interface 3. Each arithmetic circuit divides a display screen address space into 16 parts of 4X4, covers the arithmetic of address spaces GX, GY of the display screen and has the self addresses PX, PY consisting of addresses of X and Y directions. The X component DELTAX of a segment to be displayed is compared with the Y component DELTAY, and when the DELTAX is larger than the DELTAY, the arithmetic circuits in the column direction are grouped and constituted as a column. When DELTAY is larger, the arithmetic circuits in the row direction are grouped and constituted as a row. A four-dot signal is operated and stored in each block and read out in the order of addresses of a display screen address space on the basis of a reading signal.
