PURPOSE:To detect one sheet precisely by deciding the existence of paper carrying uner the output status of a sensor after a prescribed period from an output time of the initial detecting signal of the sensor in a carrying paper detecting system. CONSTITUTION:When paper money 11 is carried on a carrying course 12 and covers the 1st sensor 16, an interruption signal is generated from a sensor interruption generating circuit 19 and pulses generated from a tachogenerator interruption generating circuit 22 are counted up by an intra-sensor monitoring tachogenerator counter 23. When the paper money 11 is normally carried up to the 2nd sensor 17, pulses from the pulse generating circuit 22 are counted up by a tachogenerator counter 24. The normality/abnormality of the carrying can be detected on the basis of the counted value of the counter 23. Even if the paper money 11 is bounded at the part of the 2nd sensor 17, one sheet of the paper money 11 can be precisely detected by observing the output status of the 2nd sensor 17 after a prescribed period from the output of the initial detecting signal. |
