PURPOSE:To facilitate directional conversion of large truck in limited space by floating the chassis together with the front or rear wheel through the outrigger then moving the chassis by predetermined amount to the left or right on the slide boom. CONSTITUTION:When converting the direction of such as a truck crane, the grounding feet 23 of the front and rear outriggers 6 are grounded then the hydraulic cylinder 20 is driven to float the rear wheel 3 from the ground. While when moving the chassis 1 to the right, the hydraulic cylinder 24 is driven to shrink the ram 25 then the stretched section 28 or the chassis 1 is moved to the right because the chassis 1 is mounted slidably on the slide cover 15 through a slideboard 7. Then the motion of said chassis 1 is utilized to swing the tail around the central portion between the front wheels 3 of chassis 1 thus to convert the direction of car. |
