PURPOSE:To induce a large electric power in an armature coil by forming a core of substantially I-shape of silicon steel having small magnetic resistance in one direction and large magnetic resistance of the direction perpendicular thereto, and providing it in a stator core. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 15 and stator coil 16 are arranged in a housing 11 of a reluctance generator, and a rotor 14 is mounted on a rotatable shaft 13 through bearings 12. The rotor 14 has a core 18 formed by laminating and welding silicon steel plates of substantially I-shaped, and formed to have small magnetic resistance in the long axial direction and small magnetic resistance in the short radial direction. The core 18 remains in the circumferential portions of alpha1=90 deg. at the symmetrical portions of the outer periphery, are held from both ends by stationary plates 14a, and dummy filler 21 is bonded to form an arcuate surface on the nonarcuate portion 20. Further, the outer periphery of the rotor is coated with nonmagnetic metal plate 22 such as stainless steel to reduce windage loss. |
