PURPOSE:To attain control operation also by a sub-controller itself and to reduce production cost by dividing a main controller of a home control device into a main controller and the sub-controller and providing the sub-controller with a power supply switching means. CONSTITUTION:The sub-controller 1 has the 1st power supply means 23, a CPU11 and the 1st memory means 12, 13 independently and can operate independently of the main controller 2. When the sub-controller 1 is coupled with the main controller 2 through a connector 10, information can be transmitted/received between the sub-controller 1 and the main controller 2 through I/O interfaces 15, 16. If the sub-controller 1 is not coupled with the main controller 2 through the connector 10, the 1st power supply means is adopted, but when the sub-controller 1 is coupled with the main controller 2, a comparator 28 is actuated and a relay 29 is turned on. Consequently, a relay contact 29-a is opened and power supply to the sub-controller 1 is switched to the 2nd power supply means 26. |
