PURPOSE:To prevent molten metal from flowing into a vent hole, by a method wherein the width between a patch slot and a patch vent hole is made larger than the bridge width between a vent hole and a slot arranged on a core. CONSTITUTION:A die cast rotor consists of a core 1 laminating a given plurality of steel plates having a slot 2 and a vent hole 4, patches 5 arranged on the both sides of the core 1, and molten metal filled up in said slot 2, for example, end rings 3a, 3b made of aluminum. The bridge B between said slot 2 and vent hole 4 is formed shorter, and a patch slot 2' perforating to a slot 2 and a patch vent hole 4' penetrating a vent hole 4 are formed on the patch 5. Then, the width C between the patch vent hole 4' and the patch slot 2' is formed larger than the bridge width 8 of the bridge B of the core 1, and molten metal is prevented from flowing into the vent holes 4, 4'. |
