PURPOSE:To form a vivid bicolor image without color mixture with a simple constitution by developing positive and negative electrostatic latent images with toners different in color which are electrified with polarities opposite to each other by friction to a magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 1 electrified uniformly negatively by a corona charger 2 is irradiated with original exposure light having a white part, red part, a black part, etc. passing a red filter 11, and the photosensitive body 1 is electrified with the electric charge having the negative polarity in accordance with the black part. Similar processings are performed with a corona charger 3 for positive electrification, a cyan filter 12, etc., and then, latent images having negative and positive polarities corresponding to the black part, the red part, etc. of an original are formed on the photosensitive body. These latent image are developed by magnetic brushes of a nonmagnetic red toner and a magnetic black toner which are triboelectrified with positive and negative polarities respectively by agitation through a magnetic carrier in a developing device 5, and thus, a vivid bicolor image without color mixture is formed with the simple constitution. |
