PURPOSE:To make adjustment of an optical axis unnecessary by providing a hole, to which a functional element is set, in the center part of a plate-shaped block and forming a V-shaped groove with this hole as the center desiredly on the surface of this block. CONSTITUTION:A circular hole 17 is provided vertically in the center part of an angular plate-shaped block 11 consisting of a metal, and V-shaped grooves 12A and 12B, whose axes coincide with each other, on both sides of the circular hole 17 and a V-shaped groove 12C whose axis is orthogonal to those of V-shaped grooves 12A and 12B are formed with the circular hole 17 as the center on the surface of this block 11. A collimating lens (optical passive element) 15A is inserted to the V-shaped groove 12A, and its end face is brought into contact with the side wall of a stopper material 18A. Collimating lenses 15B and 15C are inserted to V-shaped grooves 12B and 12C, and their end faces are brought into contact with side walls of the stopper material 18. Consequently, these optical passive elements are set vary easily, and adjustment of optical axes is unnecessary. |
