PURPOSE:To execute continuously the stages of piercing and caulking by holding a fixed base having a guide port inside a framed body and providing a fixed rest which restricts the movement of a caulking post inserted into a guide port. CONSTITUTION:A base 5 with a guide port 4 is fixed and held in a framed body 3, and in the guide port 4 a caulking post 6 is held with a spring 7. An angle steel 12 and iron sheet 13 are in layers, a rivet 11 is inserted into the hole of the angle steel 12 and a press rod 1 is pressed down. The iron sheet 13 is pierced with the rivet 11 led by the guide port 4, and by pressing the roll 1 further the caulking post 6 is moved against the elasticity of the spring 7. The movement of the caulking post 6 is restricted by its contact with a rest 8 and the rivet 11 is caulked. Consequently both the stages of piercing and caulking are continuously performed and the work efficiency is also elevated.
