The invention relates to "physiotherapy" equipment of the "tilting table" type, for "gymnastics", for "suspension" allowing "pumping" of the vertebral discs for most people suffering from lumbago, solely by the weight of the body of the patient suspended by the feet. It comprises: a base 1 onto which is fixed a single pair of inclined legs 2 which carry bearings 7 for supporting axles 34; a ventral pallet 3 which can swing around the bearings 7 and is extended by an arm 35 on which a support 4 for the suspension apparatus 5 slides, the latter connecting the patient to the system. Amongst the most important applications may be cited the possibility offered to the patient of stretching only the vertebral column, of relaxing, of stretching the hips and improving circulation from a physiologically correct position. <IMAGE>
