PURPOSE:To heighten the accuracy of feeding a head by disposing a belt adjust plate between a belt bearing portion of a carriage and a carriage feed belt. CONSTITUTION:A belt adjust plate 26 having belt fixing portions 26a, 26b, a fitting portion 26c and fixing portions 26d, 26e is disposed between a belt bearing portion 28 of a carriage 18 and a carriage feed belt 24. In this arrangement, the direction of stretching the carriage feed belt 24 can be simply aligned with the direction of guiding the carriage 18 so that the accuracy of feeding a head can be hightened to accomplish correct write/read operation. |
