The invention relates to a waterproof plug socket having a cover which is mounted in a captive manner on the plug socket by means of a hinge. A bayonet closure and a sealing ring located between the plug socket and the cover ensure that the plug socket is hermetically sealed. In the case of known plug sockets, the bayonet closure is implemented with the aid of a clip which is placed over the cover. The invention is intended to avoid such a clip. The invention proposes that a hinged flap be used as the hinge for the cover, which hinged flap engages over the cover and grips it at at least one point by means of a connecting element. The shape of the connecting element allows a rotational movement of the cover with respect to the hinged flap. <IMAGE> |
