The vice is of the type comprising an angularly orientable movable jaw, characterised in that the movable jaw M is arranged, centred and held on a cylindrical body 2 which itself is positioned, centred and held on a baseplate 3 bearing on the sole plate of the vice; the said body being made in its central part with two symmetrical recesses 2<4> which are offset towards the rear, whilst the movable jaw is made with two opposing holes 5 offset towards the rear in view of the mean longitudinal axis of the said jaw; the said holes facing the said recesses 2<4>, clamping means 6 being introduced into the said holes coming into abutment and clamping against the faces of the said recesses which face them. <IMAGE>
