The present invention relates to a security device for safe-boxes, especially with a sliding device, more especially designed for a series of juxtaposed and superimposed safe-boxes. The object of the device is to house, in a sealed corridor 1, a half-depth door 4 which opens outwards, behind which there is a sliding safe-box fitted with a handle which the individual concerned grips in order to draw the safe-box to him. A limit stop 6 stops the safe-box at the end of travel and constitutes an obstacle in the event of an attempt to break in through the door 4. The longitudinal part of the corridor 11 is deep enough for the break-in attempt only to be able to take place at arm's length (reduction in movement, impossibility of leverage). Use: safe-boxes rented out by banks, individual safe-boxes and cashboxes. <IMAGE>
