PURPOSE:To provide a slippable resin film, by preparing a coating material containing a polymer comprising 1-100mol% of acrylate or methacrylate of a higher alcohol having not less than 12 carbon atoms. CONSTITUTION:A coating material is prepared from (A) a homopolymer of acrylate of a higher alcohol having not less than 12 carbon atoms or (B) a copolymer comprising 1-100mol% of methacrylate of the alcohol. In this case, a solvent may be used, as required, which may be the solvent used in polymerization. The coating material is applied to one side of a polyester film or the like in an amount of 0.1-4g/m<2> as solid matter by a coating method such as a roll coating method, followed by drying to provide a hardened film. Then, a thermally transferrable ink layer is provided on the other side of the polyester film to obtain a thermal transfer sheet. |
