PURPOSE:To carry and clean a receptive body with a high reliability by constituting a device with a receptive body, a rotating brush, a wire consisting of a resin, a metal, or the like which is provided between a carrying plate and the center of the rotating brush and faces the carrying plate through a certain gap and is stretched in the carrying direction of the receptive body. CONSTITUTION:A receptive body 2 which passes a fixing device is curled by heat, and the fixed receptive body 2 is carried by carrying rolls 8. The carried receptive body 2 passes between a carrying plate 3 and a wire 5 and reaches a rotating brush 4. The receptive body 2 passes between the rotating brush 4 and the carrying plate 3, and a toner 1 on the receptive body 2 is removed by the rotatory frictional force of fur 4b of the rotating brush 4, and the removed toner 1 is stuck electrostatically to fur 4b electrified by friction. Next, the toner 1 stuck to fur 4b by rotation of the rotating brush 4 is removed by the force of inertia of this toner 1 and contacting with a doctor 7 and is stored in a recovery box 6. The receptive body 2 is carried by carrying rolls 9, and the toner 1 on the receptive body 2 is removed successively by the rotating brush 4, thus completing cleaning of the receptive body 2. |
