PURPOSE:To obtain a vertical line pincushion distortion correcting circuit reduced in distortion by integrating the vertically deflecting voltage applied to a vertical winding of a deflecting coil by an integration circuit consisting of a resistance and a capacitor and extracting the integrated voltage via a DC preventing capacitor to clamp it by a clamping circuit consisting of a series circuit of a resistance and a diode and changing a parabolic current in phase for correction of pincushion distortion. CONSTITUTION:A resistance 15 and a capacitor 16 are omitted, and the values of a resistance 8, a capacitor 9 and a resistance 10 are set at such a level respectively that produces no effect of a pulse voltage waveform to a waveform as shown by a dotted line of a figure (a) at a point C. Under such conditions, the parabolic current flowing to a vertical winding 5a of a reactor 5 is shown by a solid line of a figure (b) and produces the S-shaped distortion as shown by a solid line of a figure (c). Then a resistance 15 and a capacitor 16 are inserted and therefore the negative side area of the waveform of the point C is clamped by a diode and varied as shown by a broken line of a figure (a). Thus the parabolic current waveform is also changed like a broken line of the figure (b) with the phase minimized at the center part. As a result, an approximately linear vertical line is obtained also on a figure for correction of distortions. |
