发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATICALLY POSITION OF FILLER ROD
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a weld zone with thorough penetration and good fusion and bead shape by controlling the top end of a filler rod to direct the same toward an adequate position so as to maximize the quantity of the arc light detected by a means for monitoring the arc light provided to a feed tip for the filler rod. CONSTITUTION:The position of arc light is detected by a means 10 for monitoring arc light provided to a feed tip 5 for a filler rod 2 for TIG welding. The detection signal thereof is divided to vertical and lateral moving signals by a deviation discriminator 11. The moving signals are inputted to a vertical movement controller 12 and a lateral movement controller 13. The tip 5 is directed to an adequate position by a vertical mover 7 and a lateral mover 9 to maximize the quantity of the arc light.
