<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the limitation of the number of packets as well as the increase of the processing load with a packet exchange device, by changing the packet converting timing at the transmission side according to the retransmission frequency when the remote side is kept under a congestion state. CONSTITUTION:The data supplied from a terminal equipment 3 are converted into a packet by a packet assembling/disassembling device 2 and sent to a packet exchange device 1 at the remote side. When the remote side is kept under a congestion state, the device 2 changes the packet converting timing of the input data according to the retransmission frequency 10 of the device 1 at the transmission side. The allocated timing is increased in case the reception of data is impossible. Thus the number of packets to be sent is reduced.</p> |
