Lagging of hot water tanks. Lagging jacket for hot water tank of the type comprising a longitudinally open sleeve, the edges of the opening 6, 7 being joined by a fastener with a slide 8, characterised in that the said sleeve 3 is formed from at least one thick insulating plate 5 fixed on the internal face of a flexible sheet 4 and having a length greater than that of the tank 1 so as to exceed at least one of the ends of the latter, a plug 9 of insulating material being engaged in the end of the sleeve 3 extending part that of the tank, the said plug 9 being shaped so as to match the shape of the end of the said tank on one face, and on the other face, to be flush with the end of the said sleeve 3, a cover 12 being provided so as to engage over the sleeve 3 and hold the plug 9. <IMAGE>
