PURPOSE:To obtain the ink jet recording head of high finish precision and high reliability, by forming an orifice by cutting the downstream side of the ink passage of the joining material prepared by joining the cover of the ink passage or the like by lamination by cutting processes of not less than 2 steps. CONSTITUTION:In the first cutting process, all the joining material 12 is cut on the downstream side of an ink passage slightly apart from the C-C' line. In the subsequent second cutting process, by pressing a diamond blade 11 onto the cutting surface formed by the first cutting process, the cutting surface is polished until the cutting surface is precisely in accord with the C-C' line and the orifice is formed. Consequently, the orifice 6-3 is formed. At last, after removing the cutting refuse generated in cutting by washing, ink supply pipes 10 are further joined by piercing holes 9 and the ink jet recording head is formed. |
