PURPOSE:To prevent peeling of layers and prevent offset phenomena or the like for a long period by using an addition reaction-type silicone rubber, to which heat-conductive materials are added, as an elastic layer and using the same addition reaction-type silicone rubber, to which no additives are added, as a thin film layer coating the surface. CONSTITUTION:A fixing roll 1 consists of a cylindrical core bar 3, which is formed with aluminum and is supported axially turnably in the direction of an arrow A, and an elastic layer 4 and a thin film layer 5 which are formed successively on the surface of this core bar 3 and consist of the addition reaction-type silicone rubber. The elastic layer 4 is formed as follows: elastic materials where 300pts.wt. crystalline silica having 2mum average particle size, 5pts.wt. diorganopolysiloxane where both terminals of molecular chain are blocked, and a minute amount of a platinum compound is mixed with a chain diorganopolysiloxane having vinyl radicals in both terminals of molecular chains are coated on the surface of the core bar 3, where a primer is preliminarily applied and sintered, and tre vulcanized to form the layer 4. The thin film layer 5 is formed as follows: materials where only the crystalline silica is removed from said elastic materials are diluted to 1/10 with a solvent and are applied thinly on the surface of the elastic layer 4 by a spray and are sintered to form the layer 5. |
