PURPOSE:To perform the titled cleaning at low cost to remove the impurities contained using simple device, by carrying out cleaning several times in each one cleaning tank and separator and by recycling use of cleaning fluid. CONSTITUTION:A polymerization product to be cleaned and cleaning fluid fed from primary fluid tank 107 are agitated together in cleaning tank 101 to perform cleaning followed by feeding the resulting product into separator 105, where the cleaning fluid used is separated and discharged through pipe 117. Said separator 105 is then charged with the cleaning fluid in secondary cleaning fluid tank 109 to carry out a second cleaning at least once. The cleaning fluid separated, because of relatively low level in the impurity concentration, is fed to the tank 101 to be subjected to reuse, where as the separator 105 is charged with virgin fluid to perform the final cleaning. The cleaning fluid separated following the above cleaning is brought into the tank 109 to be subjected to reuse. EFFECT:Also suitable for cleaning operation in multi-grade-small-scale production processes.
