PURPOSE:To increase the volume of information to be recorded by dividing tracks successively formed on a recording medium, recording the 1st and 2nd information signals in respectively divided areas and then dividing the recording area of the 2nd information signal. CONSTITUTION:Output signals (d), (e) of AND gates 25, 26 are outputted from terminals 37, 38 respectively, the control signal (d) outputted from the terminal 37 controls a SW7 and a SW17 and the control signal (e) outputted from the terminal 38 controls a SW8 and a SW14. A PG(a) is supplied to a frequency bimultiplying circuit 29 and a rectangle wave signal outputted from the circuit 29 is supplied to a trailing edge detecting circuit consisting of an inverter 30 and a NOR gate 31 and a monostable multivibrator 32 is triggered by the trailing edge detecting pulse. The multivibrator 32 holds the high level similarly to a monostable multivibrator 22 to obtain a signal (g). The signal (g) is supplied to terminals 39, 40 as a timing control signal, a timing control signal (h) outputted from the terminal 39 controls a SW9 and SW15 and a control signal (i) outputted from the terminal 40 controls a SW10 and a SW16 respectively. |
