PURPOSE:To enable a float to be separated instantaneously by a method in which plural oil-pressure jacks for supporting a marine structure are provided to the float for carrying the marine structure and connected to an oil pressure source through one switching valve. CONSTITUTION:A marine structure 2 is set on oil-pressure jacks 7 provided on the upper part of a float 1 for carrying the marine structure 2 and moved to near an installation point. A switching valve 8 is operated to extend four oil- pressure jacks 7, and thereby the structure 2 is lifted up to a necessary height. The float 1 is moved between the struts 20 of the jacket 3, and under the condition that the lower part of legs 18 is inserted into the holes of the upper ends of the struts 20, the valve 8 is operated to open oil pressure. Whereupon, four oil- pressure jacks are concurrently contracted instantaneously, and the marine structure 2 can thus be installed on the jacket 3. |
