A telecommunications connecting socket has a base design in which a bush is integrally formed centrally. The contact tabs allocated to this bush are connected to the contact points of a connecting strip by means of conductor tracks which lie in a plane and are held in recesses in the lower base part. The contact tabs are preferably connected to the conductor tracks by means of spot welding. An upper base part has retaining connecting pieces which press the conductor tracks into the recesses in the lower base part. The conductor tracks can be assembled particularly easily in that they are held in their installation position at their ends on the contact-point sides by a device, and are subsequently placed onto the lower base part together.
