PURPOSE:To match the left/right recording with the actual image pickup state even at the left hand operation by providing a changeover switch inverting the sound directivity of a left channel and a right channel of the sound to the surrounding of a stereo microphone. CONSTITUTION:A sound channel changeover switch 5 is provided near the stereo microphone 1 incorporated with an electronic view finder 2 and in case of the left hand operation, a fixed roller 6 is loosened so as to invert the electronic view finder 2. The left and right channels are changed over by the sound channel changeover switch 5 in this case so as to attain the stereo recording in matching with the actual image pickup state. Thus, the stereo sound channel is matched with that of the actual image pickup independently of the right hand operation and the left hand operation of the video camera.
